A Post In Time

While MaryBeth was cleaning out a desk drawer, she stumbled upon a treasure trove of memories: cherished, handwritten letters from her in-laws, Bobbie and JOD, to their grandchildren, spanning over 25 years of correspondence filled with travel adventures. She fondly recalled her children attempting to decipher JOD’s playful script, giggling at his tales of genius, such as showering while fully clothed to do laundry and clean himself at the same time! They appreciated the ease of Bobbie’s handwriting and her vivid descriptions of cultural, historical, and delicious topics. These memories—paired with Amy’s lifelong love of letter writing—inspired MaryBeth and Amy to create A Post in Time, a stationery line designed for authentic connection. When MaryBeth envisioned adding a modern twist, she turned to her wizard-of-a-husband with the idea of a Memory Key. Mark built the app that made it possible—a simple QR code that lets each handwritten note carry photos or a short video. A Post in Time was created! It blends the beauty of pen and paper with a dash of digital connection.

Magic of a Handwritten Note

In a world of quick taps and instant replies, a handwritten note feels almost enchanted. It asks us to slow down, choose our words carefully, and send a little piece of ourselves into the world. There’s an intimacy to handwriting, a warmth that can’t be typed. Its curves and quirks carry personality, presence, and emotion. A handwritten note becomes a one-of-a-kind treasure, crafted just for the person who opens it. And that’s why it connects us so deeply. It lingers. It’s saved in drawers, tucked into books, rediscovered years later. It becomes part of our personal history, a small but enduring reminder of the relationships that shape us. At A Post in Time, we believe these moments deserve beautiful homes. Our stationery blends the magic of the handwritten word with a gentle touch of the digital age—inviting people to share not just messages, but memories that last.
